He was born in Buenos Aires on December 11, 1946. He studied in Argentina and France. In Buenos Aires, he studied at the Raggio Technical Schools and at the Manuel Belgrano School of Visual Arts; in Paris, he trained at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, at the École Practique des Hautes Études de La Sorbonne, and at the Department of Plastic Arts of the Université de Vincennes (Paris VIII).
He has held individual exhibitions in the following spaces: Banco Patricios Foundation (1989), Ática Gallery Bs. As. (1990), Ática Gallery Bs. As. (1994), Dock del Plata – Art Space (1995), National Fund for Las Artes Bs. As. (1997), POINT – Puerto Madero Bs. As. (2000) and Daniel Maman Fine Arts Gallery (2005). He has made more than one hundred exhibitions throughout his career, from 1969 to date.
He has participated in numerous national and international symposiums: First Monumental Sculpture Symposium (City of Bahía Blanca, Argentina, 1993); Argentine Credit Bank Sculpture Symposium (1994); as guest of honor by the National Academy of Fine Arts at the International Sculpture Symposium (Resistencia, Chaco, Argentina, 1994); National Wood Sculpture Triennial (Resistance, Chaco, Argentina, 1995); International Sculpture Symposium “Three Rivers Sculpture Park” (Culiacán, Mexico, 1995); “Colamos ’96” International Monumental Sculpture Symposium (Guadalajara, Mexico, 1996); International Monumental Sculpture Symposium (Zacatecas, Mexico, 1997); National Monumental Sculpture Symposium (Río Gallegos, Santa Cruz, Argentina, 1999); International Monumental Sculpture Symposium, Ciudad Empresarial (Santiago de Chile, Chile, 2000).
Throughout his career, he has received the following awards: Second Prize for Sculpture (Manuel Belgrano Municipal Hall of Plastic Arts, Eduardo Sívori Museum, Buenos Aires 1969), First Prize for Sculpture (Manuel Belgrano Municipal Hall, Eduardo Sívori Museum, Buenos Aires, 1992), First Prize for Sculpture (National Hall of Plastic Arts, 1992), Grand Prize of Honor (National Hall of Plastic Arts, 1993), First Prize for Monumental Sculpture (Banco República Foundation, Sixth Architecture Biennial, MNBA, Buenos Aires, 1995 ), First Prize for Monumental Sculpture INET – MNBA (Buenos Aires, 1997), First Prize for Sculpture by the Henry Moore Foundation (MNBA – Buenos Aires 1998) and First Prize for Sculpture awarded to the Alberto Trabuco Foundation (National Academy of Fine Arts, 1998).
