Foundation “Music to save lives” is a small NGO of Public Utility, which was created 16 years ago to help Ugandan children and adolescents to have a decent future in their country. The purpose of the project is to form people capable of managing and finding work in their own country.
It is an association that encourages Ugandan children and young people to keep moving forward, through music and dance, helping them to recover their values, and offering them support.
The tremendously therapeutic nature of music and dance has been crucial in helping children. Every day there are rehearsals with some of the groups that were formed at the Foundation: Natumayini, Aba Taano, Af Ndanza, Kawá or Kalemas. “ABA TAANO” is a gospel quintet that has already received 11 international awards.
