Poetry by Miguel Hernández at the UXart Virtual Museum

The project has received the support of the “Alejandro G. Roemmers” Ibero-American Chair of Cultural and Creative Industries of the Miguel Hernández University, achieving the inclusion of poetry for the first time in the Virtual Museum gallery.

The application offers the user a virtual reconstruction of a selection of poems in different 4.0 narratives: virtual reality, immersive portals, 3D technology, geolocation and holography. It also includes a map of Orihuela (Alicante), his hometown, with points of interest for visitors.

Content has been created with 360º images, which allow visitors to discover the streets, squares, monuments, museums and neighborhoods of the poet’s city, including the murals painted in his honor that can be seen in the San Isidro neighborhood from anywhere in the world..
