From a very young age, writing was for me a way of understanding what was happening to me. I started writing at a very early age, almost without realizing that this gesture was going to accompany me my whole life. I remember it was emotion that led me to write: a deep feeling, something that needed to come out and found its place in words.
I wrote my first poems when I was very young, around 8 years old, and since then writing appeared naturally, without looking for it, but without ever leaving it. Over the years, I understood that this need was not fleeting, but part of my way of being in the world.
That relationship with writing was sustained. It was not something planned, but something that was born very early and stayed with me. Poetry was, many times, a refuge; a way to organize what I felt and to give shape to experiences that, otherwise, remained scattered.
Everything unforgettable is born from that journey. It is an anthology that brings together texts written in different stages of my life, traversed by moments, questions, and searches that changed over time. I don’t experience it just as a collection, but as a way of returning to that path and recognizing what things still make sense today.
I have always understood poetry as a way to express what one feels. It is a space where I try to be honest, without looking for effects, but trying to say what really happens to me. There are texts that were written many years ago and yet continue to speak in the present.
This book has two prologues that I value deeply. In the Argentine edition, the prologue is by Antonio Requeni, whom I admire for his sensitivity and his trajectory in poetry. The Spanish edition, which will be presented in October under the title Amar: a cada uno, a todos y a cualquiera, will feature a prologue by Luis Alberto de Cuenca, a poet whose work has been a reference in Spanish-language literature. This new edition will also include unpublished poems that expand and enrich the universe of the anthology.
Over the years I also came to understand that poetry is not only a way to express what one feels, but also a way of looking. It taught me to stop, to observe differently, to find meaning in what often goes unnoticed. That way of looking remains present every time I write.
In that sense, Todo lo inolvidable is not just a book that gathers texts, but also a way of sharing that perspective. Each poem arises from a concrete experience, a real emotion, but also from that attempt to better understand what happens to us. I am interested in allowing the reader to pause, recognize themselves in a line, or simply let themselves be touched by what the poem proposes.
The possibility of reaching Spain opens a new chapter for the book. It is a way for these texts to continue their journey and find new readers in another context.
Publishing this anthology is, for me, a synthesis and, at the same time, a beginning. It brings together part of what has been lived, but also leaves open the possibility that each reader finds something of their own in those pages.
Because poetry does not end when one writes it. It continues in each reading, in each interpretation, in each emotion it awakens.
